We are experiencing a lot of calamities lately and those areas that are prone to typhoons and flooding should really have sturdier buildings so as to protect their properties and the people inside and outside the buildings.
Owners should not wait until lives and stuff will be lost before they build something good. They should really start thinking of investing in the construction of steel buildings already.
Of course we know that nothing can be completely protected from force majeure, but if we do not do anything, the damage will be much worse. Not doing anything and just waiting for things to happen has not always been a very good idea.
