Many people who used to buy desktops for their household use are already switching to laptop computers because they are portable. While they can use them at home, they can also bring them elsewhere. They save space and they can also use it while lying comfortably in bed.
But desktop computers will not be gone. Companies and offices still use desktop computers because they are grounded. They have bigger capacities and you can also install bigger monitors, especially if you are in the business of graphics design and video editing.
While laptops are convenient and have become cheaper, both kinds of computers are still relevant in our world today.
